Maargit Beach Resort | Goa
A destination celebration that brought Kathmandu to Goa, combining a modern couple’s style with the traditions, culture and warmth that remained deeply rooted in who they are.
Suzeena and Avishek came to Goa from Kathmandu, Nepal, to celebrate their wedding with the people closest to them.
Both well-known personalities in their own worlds, Avishek was the lead singer of a popular metal band, while Suzeena was a singer, model and the founder of a beauty brand.
Together, they brought an unmistakable energy to their celebration.
But beneath the modernity and their very public lives was something we found particularly beautiful—they remained deeply connected to their roots, their traditions and their culture.
Suzeena and Avishek wanted their wedding to feel like one big celebration where everyone could let their hair down.
Their family and friends were travelling from Nepal to Goa, and the intention was to give everyone more than just a wedding.
They wanted it to feel like a mini vacation.
A chance to slow down, spend time together, celebrate, enjoy Goa and create memories beyond the wedding itself.
What made this wedding particularly memorable was the beautiful contrast between who Suzeena and Avishek are and the way they chose to celebrate their wedding.
For a couple with such a modern outlook and lifestyle, seeing how deeply rooted they remained in their traditions was genuinely special.
Their wedding wasn’t about choosing between modernity and culture. It was about allowing both to exist together.
The result was a celebration that felt contemporary, energetic and personal, while still honouring the traditions that brought their families together.
With family and friends travelling from Kathmandu to Goa, guest experience was central to the planning.
The aim was to create an environment where everyone felt welcomed, comfortable and free to enjoy themselves.
From venue coordination and guest logistics to hospitality, event planning and vendor management, every element was brought together with the larger experience in mind.
Because when guests have travelled across borders to celebrate with you, looking after them becomes just as important as the celebration itself.
For Suzeena and Avishek, our role covered the complete destination wedding experience:
Helping the couple find and secure the right setting for their Goa celebration.
Working closely with the property throughout the planning and execution.
Bringing together the different elements of the celebrations while keeping the experience relaxed and enjoyable.
Creating a celebration that complemented the couple's modern personality while respecting their cultural traditions.
Looking after guests travelling from Nepal and ensuring their experience felt seamless from arrival onwards.
Coordinating the entire vendor team through the planning and execution of the celebrations.
At the end of the celebrations, Suzeena and Avishek came up to us.
~ There were compliments.
~ There were hugs.
And there was a genuine sense of gratitude for everything that had gone into bringing their wedding together. It was a simple moment, but one that stayed with us. After months of planning and countless details happening behind the scenes, there’s something incredibly rewarding about seeing a couple genuinely happy with the experience you’ve created together.
Suzeena and Avishek’s wedding was a celebration of two things that don’t always get spoken about together:
who you are today, and where you come from.
They brought their modern lives, their personalities, their families and their traditions from Kathmandu to Goa and created a celebration that felt completely their own.
For us, it was a privilege to be part of that journey.
