When should we start planning our destination wedding in Goa?
Ideally, we recommend beginning the planning process 9–12 months before your wedding, particularly if you’re considering popular venues or peak wedding dates.
That said, shorter timelines are absolutely possible depending on the date, guest count, venue availability and scale of the celebration.
The earlier you begin, the more choice you generally have when it comes to venues and high-demand vendors.
Do you plan weddings for couples living outside India?
Absolutely.
A significant part of destination wedding planning involves helping couples who aren’t based in Goa or even in India.
We’ve planned weddings for couples living in the US, Australia, UK and other parts of the world, managing everything from venue selection and virtual tours to vendor coordination and on-ground execution.
You don’t need to be in Goa throughout the planning process.
You need the right team on the ground.
Do we need to visit Goa before booking our venue?
Not necessarily.
While we always welcome couples to visit and experience their shortlisted properties, many of our couples have selected and booked their venue remotely.
We can help with venue shortlisting, availability, quotations, virtual tours and our own practical recommendations based on what we know about the property.
Can you help us choose and book our wedding venue?
Yes.
Venue selection is one of the most important parts of our planning process.
We help you shortlist properties based on your guest count, preferred style, budget, number of events and overall vision. We then assist with availability, quotations, negotiations, virtual tours, contracting and coordination with the property.
We don’t simply recommend a venue because it looks beautiful.
We consider how well it will actually work for your wedding.
Budget & Planning
How much does a destination wedding in Goa cost?
There isn’t a single number because the overall investment depends on several factors—including guest count, number of events, venue category, accommodation, décor, entertainment, food and beverage and the time of year.
During our initial consultation, we’ll understand your requirements and give you a realistic idea of what you can expect at different budget levels.
Our approach is to help you make informed decisions rather than simply spend more.
Can you help us stay within our budget?
Absolutely.
Budget management is an important part of thoughtful wedding planning.
We help you prioritise where your investment will have the greatest impact, identify areas where you can save without compromising the experience and avoid spending simply because something is trendy or expected.

Venues
Should we book the venue ourselves or through a wedding planner?
You can certainly approach venues directly, but we’d strongly recommend involving your planner before making the final decision.
A venue’s room rates or package pricing are only part of the equation.
Layout restrictions, event timings, vendor access, production requirements, guest movement, accommodation, weather considerations and operational support can all influence how well a property works for your wedding.
Our role is to give you the practical perspective you may not get from a venue brochure or sales conversation.
Do you work with specific wedding venues in Goa?
We work with a wide range of properties across Goa, from boutique resorts and beachfront venues to larger luxury resorts, hotels and heritage properties.
Rather than limiting couples to a fixed venue list, we recommend properties based on what makes sense for your celebration.
Guest Experience
Do you manage accommodation and guest logistics?
Yes.
Guest experience is an important part of destination wedding planning.
We can assist with accommodation coordination, rooming lists, airport arrivals and departures, transportation, guest communication, hospitality desks and other on-ground requirements.
Design & Décor
Can we be involved in the décor planning?
Absolutely.
We actually encourage it.
The décor is one of the biggest creative components of a wedding, and we believe it should be a collaborative process.
We’ll work with you on mood boards, layouts, colour palettes, references and concepts before developing the final design.
Our job isn’t to impose our style on your wedding.
It’s to help translate your vision into something that works beautifully in the chosen venue.
Vendors & Execution
Can we work with our own vendors?
We believe in collaboration and are happy to work with vendors you’ve already selected, subject to the practical requirements of the venue and overall wedding plan.
Where you need recommendations, we can also introduce you to trusted vendors based on your requirements, style and budget.

What happens after we contact The Wedding Crafters?
We usually begin with an initial consultation where we understand your wedding date, guest count, number of events, preferred type of property and tentative budget.
We’ll then give you an initial understanding of what kind of venues, wedding experience and overall investment you can realistically expect.
If you decide to move forward, we begin the planning journey from there.

Absolutely.
You don’t need a venue, a detailed vision or even a complete guest list before reaching out.
