Beleza by the Beach | Goa
A joyful destination celebration that brought together Punjabi and Keralite traditions, modern wedding experiences and two families who knew how to celebrate.
Saumya and Kunal are a perfect reminder that sometimes, opposites really do attract.
Kunal was the chilled-out Mumbai boy, while Saumya brought the energy and vibrancy of Delhi. Their paths crossed while they were both living in the US, and eventually they decided to bring their friends and family together in Goa to celebrate their big day.
With Punjabi and Keralite roots coming together, their wedding was always going to be a meeting of cultures, personalities and traditions.
And it turned out to be every bit as lively as the two of them.
Saumya and Kunal wanted a wedding that respected where they came from while still feeling contemporary and completely their own.
They wanted their traditions to have a place alongside modern wedding experiences, including exchanging their wedding vows as one of the celebrations.
The result was a wedding that didn’t try to choose between tradition and modernity. It embraced both.
If there was one thing that defined this wedding, it was the people. There was laughter everywhere. Energy everywhere.
And an incredible sense of happiness that carried through every celebration.
The Sangeet came alive with some seriously memorable family performances, bringing out the competitive spirit and plenty of laughter.
And when it was time for the reception, a live band took things up another notch, turning the celebration into a party that was impossible not to get swept up in.
The décor created the setting. The music created the atmosphere.
But it was the people who made the wedding what it was.
For Saumya and Kunal, our role covered the complete destination wedding experience:
Helping the couple find and secure the right setting for their Goa celebration.
Working closely with the property throughout the planning and execution.
Creating a flow across the celebrations that allowed each event to have its own personality.
Bringing together a visual experience that complemented the couple's modern yet culturally rich vision.
Planning the movement, comfort and overall experience of friends and family travelling to Goa.
Coordinating the creative, entertainment and operational teams involved in bringing the celebrations to life.
Sometimes the most meaningful feedback comes from the people who have watched the entire journey unfold.
At the end of the celebrations, Saumya and Kunal’s parents took the time to thank us for the unwavering support we’d provided throughout the planning process. They appreciated not just what we had planned, but the lengths we’d gone to make things happen—even when it meant stepping outside what was expected of us. That meant a lot.
Because destination wedding planning inevitably comes with unexpected challenges, and sometimes the job is simply to figure things out and get them done. For us, that’s part of being in the right hands.
Saumya and Kunal’s wedding was a beautiful mix of everything that made them who they are.
