La Cabana, Goa
A relaxed celebration where an Indian bride, a French groom and their families and friends from different corners of the world came together for two unforgettable days in Goa.
Joyce and Pierre met while living in the UK and eventually decided to bring their families and friends together in Goa to celebrate their wedding.
Joyce, a Catholic Indian bride, and Pierre, a French groom, came from different cultures and backgrounds—but by the time their wedding arrived, it was clear that what brought everyone together was much bigger than those differences.
It was simply a couple very much in love, surrounded by the people who mattered most to them.
Joyce and Pierre wanted their wedding to feel exactly like them—chilled, relaxed and full of fun. The celebrations unfolded over two days, with each event having its own character.
Day One — Roce
A Goan Catholic tradition that brought everyone together in a warm, intimate setting.
Day Two — Beach Wedding & Reception
The wedding moved to the shores of Goa, followed by a grand reception that brought everyone together for a night of celebration. The brief wasn’t about creating something overly formal.
It was about creating an atmosphere where everyone could relax, celebrate and enjoy themselves.
One of the most memorable things about Joyce and Pierre’s wedding was seeing people from completely different backgrounds come together so naturally.
French guests dancing to Bollywood music. Indian traditions meeting French influences. Friends and family from different countries celebrating under the Goan sky.
And then there was the reception cake—a beautiful French Paris-Brest bringing a little taste of Pierre’s culture into the celebrations.
It was these little details that made the wedding feel personal rather than simply multicultural for the sake of it.
For Joyce and Pierre, our role covered the complete destination wedding experience:
Helping the couple find and secure the right setting for their two-day celebration.
Working closely with the property throughout the planning and execution.
Creating a relaxed flow across the Roce, beach wedding and reception.
Developing the visual direction for each celebration while keeping the overall experience cohesive.
Coordinating the experience for family and friends travelling from different countries.
Bringing together and coordinating the entire team behind the celebrations.
Sometimes, the best feedback comes second-hand.
After the wedding, Joyce told us that her friends and family couldn’t stop talking about how dreamy the entire celebration had been. And honestly, that’s exactly what you hope to hear.
Because the couple should know they had a beautiful wedding—but when their guests are still talking about the experience afterwards, you know you’ve created something that went beyond the décor and the celebrations themselves.
Joyce and Pierre’s wedding was a beautiful reminder of what destination weddings do best.
They bring people together.
~ Different cultures.
~ Different countries.
~ Different traditions.
And somehow, over good food, music, dancing and a few days in Goa, everyone becomes part of the same celebration.
