Prainha by the Sea | Goa
A relaxed destination wedding where two days of celebrations gave family and friends plenty of time to slow down, enjoy Goa and simply be together.
Shoba and Sanyam met while pursuing their higher studies in France and eventually moved to the UK, where they built their lives together.
Sanyam came from Chandigarh and Shoba from Bangalore, and when it came time to plan their wedding, they chose to bring their families and friends together in Goa.
Almost the entire planning journey happened remotely.
From finding and booking the venue to planning the celebrations and coordinating the details that followed, everything was managed from a distance. The couple made just one trip to Goa, three months before the wedding.
For the rest of the journey, they trusted their team on the ground to bring everything together.
Shoba and Sanyam didn’t want their wedding to feel like a tightly scheduled production.
They wanted people to eat well, drink well, feel comfortable and, most importantly, enjoy themselves.
The brief was simple: create a celebration that felt effortless.
And that meant building enough breathing room into the schedule for guests to actually experience Goa rather than simply move from one event to the next.
The celebrations were deliberately spread across two days.
Day one began with a sundowner, giving everyone the chance to ease into the celebrations and spend time together without rushing.
The wedding followed the next day, leaving plenty of space between events. And that breathing room made all the difference.
Guests found time to head to the beach, explore their surroundings and even squeeze in a morning run before the wedding. It was a small but important reminder that a destination wedding doesn’t have to mean being on a constant schedule.
Sometimes, the best part of bringing everyone to Goa is simply giving them the time to enjoy being there.
For Shoba and Sanyam, our role covered the complete destination wedding experience:
Helping the couple find and secure the right setting for their relaxed destination celebration.
Working closely with the property to ensure every aspect of the stay and celebrations was aligned.
Creating a two-day flow that gave the celebrations structure without making them feel rushed.
Developing the visual direction for the celebrations while keeping the overall experience relaxed and effortless.
Planning arrivals, guest movement and on-ground requirements for family and friends travelling to Goa.
Coordinating the entire vendor team to ensure everything came together smoothly.
Sometimes the best feedback isn’t one person’s testimonial. It’s when everyone starts telling you the same thing. During the wedding, guests would randomly walk up to us and tell us how amazing the experience had been. No formal feedback. No prompting.
Just genuine comments from people who were having a great time. And for us, that was perhaps the biggest compliment of all. Because when guests are relaxed enough to enjoy themselves, the couple is able to be present, and the entire celebration feels effortless, we know the planning behind it has done its job.
Shoba and Sanyam’s wedding was a reminder that a destination wedding doesn’t always need to feel like a packed itinerary. Sometimes, thoughtful planning means knowing what not to schedule.
